Alright, let’s begin.
Starting a blog, ha. Will try to keep this going, whenever I give birth to thoughts worth jotting down and have the occasion to write something. Sometimes though, occasionally it will happen – out of my own control of course, that I will jot things down not worthing it. Like at all. Because in the end, I can do it. Because it’s a blog. In fact, I can do whatever I want. I mean in the blog. In the frames of being a law-abiding citizen with good manners. So, in the end there is a lot I can or will not do here. Some out of my own will. But what I will do, may still be interesting. For someone out there. Or not. Time will tell. Who knows, this might be a book someday! So you better stay a loyal reader to see how this unfolds. Or maybe, just maybe (no, in fact statistics can prove that most likely), it will be added to the list of my ‘dead wannabe wishes’, I have started to compile from an early childhood. It’s a long list I can tell you. But let’s don’t go so far.
I have no illusions that blogging is out of fashion and today an average adult’s attention span ranges from 1 second to a minute at max, but through my experience, I have learned the hard way that writing helps keeping things in check in my mind. I know others can do multiple things at a time, well I’m not like that. In fact, I’m quite a ‘monochronic way of doing things’ kind of a person. If you give me a glass filled with water and tell me to grab something from the floor with my other hand at the same time, while leaning down, I’ll just pour the water on the floor. It actually happened. Multiple times. So, for me at least, writing is a well working method, that I have been using over the past 10 years to straighten out the lines of my thoughts. Writing all sorts of things, starting from very personal stuff, but occasionally also small fictional stories, poems, songs etc. Writing at work helped me many times to break complex things down to their elementary pieces and present them more neatly. In fact, writing is a natural way for me to transmit my thoughts. Since then I can think about what to write down. At speaking, I tend to mumble things through or lose the chain of thought of what I’m trying to say, so what I want to tell often doesn’t go through. I could even add here a very deep quote from a very deep thinker about how writing helps the way of thinking, but I won’t. So just imagine something is here. I’ll even help you: “A VERY DEEP QUOTE ABOUT WRITING OVER SPEAKING” – from A VERY DEEP THINKER
The blog writing came up as an idea, since I’m going through a traveling project now, and it came naturally, that I want to share some of my experience with my circle and with whoever is interested in it. So far I found Instagram reels and stories superficial, that way too often don’t carry the depth of thought. Not that I always have a depth of thought. But here, I’ll make a desperate effort of adding more thought in and at the same time will be using this platform selfishly to get my head around the matters that I feel lost with in the jungle of my headspace – and I can tell you it’s easy to get lost in there.
In this blog, I’ll guide you through my thinking process what I feel I’m open to talk about and the journey I’m on. You will see some serious chronological disorder in the way the posts will talk about this story. But hey, still remember the jungle in my head? There you go.
So let’s get to it.
